Auria is the high-fantasy setting created by Vedian Press' Lead Designer: C.J. Vanderlipe. Among the first worlds they forged, Auria is an active project.
In this world, the gods are as real as the sun and the moon. Across the long history of Auria, millennia of conflict, war, and four near-extinction events have transformed both the lands and its people. Their nations are founded upon the ruins of those that came before them, and it is through the wisdom won over the ages long past that the people of Auria can find prosperity and hope.
Now, as Auria recovers from a two-hundred year catastrophe known as the Spellblight, mortal ambitions build once again, setting the stage for conflict across the world.
Auria, and the various systems and mechanics we created for the setting, were designed to be compatible with the fifth edition core rules. However, Auria is more than capable of hosting any RPG or story with a heroic fantasy tone, including but not limited to:

The Ascended are supernatural individuals blessed with powers received from the gods. They were once duty-bound to protect the world from the threat of Spirit Beasts. But now, as all Spirit Beasts have been removed from Auria, they exist unbound by their previous duties. They wander the world, making their own destinies. They will likely be the protagonists of a story, or the heroes of a campaign.
The primary pantheon of Auria. These eleven Deities are the penultimate forces and elements that created and hold dominion over Auria. Despite their power, it is a fact that they are as fallible, forgetful, and mortal as the children of their world. They play a part in the lives of all those who live on Auria, even those who object to their worship.
The dark shadow of the Eleven. They are the pockets of darkness between the light, the daggers that silence dissent, the swords of revolution, the lies of a lover, and the entropy of mortal life. The Wicked Six ascended to godhood only four-hundred years ago, and in spite of their ambitions, they are still learning to wield their divine powers.
