KOPHOS

The first utterance. The force that is, that has been, and that will always be. Alone, it exists beyond the horizon of comprehension, its very nature a perplexing paradox, its essence and identity suffused through every thing.

It is the stardust within all beings. It is the arc of time as it stretches forward unto infinity. It is the stars and swirling galaxies of the Great Space of Ved. It is the kaleidoscopic coils of nebulae. It is the stretches of emptiness between planets and moons. It is Space, and Stars, and Time itself.

Little is known and much less is documented about Kophos. From its origins to the beginnings of its life, Kophos does not reveal much about itself. Even the Court only knows that it tells them, but from the lips of the gods themselves comes this information:

Kophos has always existed. It existed alongside the First Architect, observing and watching the Architect's inexperienced hands and young mind weave together the Multiverse. Whether or not the First Architect knew it, or was conscious of it, Kophos was present. Kophos forged Time alongside the First Architect, and kept record of its slow movement toward the present and future.

Appearance. Kophos typically appears as a bipedal entity with no discernable body type or gender. It wears a cloak of stars and galaxies, and where its head would be is a singular, floating orb made of condensed stardust, swirling gases, and divine light.

Kophos’ primary thrones are TIME, SPACE, and STARS. 

TIME: Kophos defends the flow of time, denying or destroying those that seek to desecrate it. 

SPACE & STARS: It commands the vast space of Ved, guiding travelers through its dangers, and it forges new stars and heralds their deaths all the same. 

Introducing Kophos

Continuity Error. Someone from another time ends up in front of the party; Kophos ordains the party to return the person to the appropriate time, and provides vague instructions on how to do so.
