Many believe that I stand in opposition to Corva. This could not be more untrue. The goddess has earned more than my respect.
She has earned my undying devotion.
And defiance.
The Great Defiler, the Undying King, the Lord of the Circles of Death, and the Bearer of Bones, Slimari has a dark fascination with the continuation of life beyond death, and the effects of disease upon the body. This fascination grew into a deep and sickening obsession with not only fashioning undead and forging diseases, but with defying the forces responsible for death. Namely, the goddess Corva.
Slimari finds joy in defying death, in ignoring the laws and rules of life as defined by Corva herself.
Appearance. Slimari can commonly appear as an emaciated, disease-ridden humanoid with only one distinguishing feature: hollow, blackened sockets for eyes.
Slimar’s domains are UNDEATH and DISEASE.
UNDEATH: Undeath, to Slimari, is a gift. A blessing of freedom from the unnatural state of life, where one is chained to whims of hunger, thirst, air, and, most importantly: death. Slimari wants to share this gift with all of Auria, whether they want it or not.
DISEASE: The fastest way to eliminate life on Auria, as Slimari discovered, is not war or destruction, but disease. Afflictions and illnesses that destroy the body from within, not without. Life and death, the infinite cycle, for Slimari, are its own kind of disease, one that he seeks to cure.
Purging the Dead. A band of Slimari’s cultists have been raiding the local cemetery, desecrating tombstones, and destroying the sacred remains of the dead. The heroes must defend the cemetery from the cultists!
“Desecrate the dead, and return them to unlife.”
“Life is a sickness; all things living should be unmade.”
“Corrupt all with disease, so that true life can take hold.”
