Sight is strength.
The Observer Eternum, the Eyes-at-World’s-End, Ortex’s sight reaches where Adrestus’ falls short. Ortex keeps her gaze trained upon the deities and gods of Auria, rather than its mortal denizens. She silently gathers knowledge of the gods’ secrets, whereabouts, motivations, and divine Realms, holding them within her Vault of Sacred Eyes.
Under the guidance of Auril and within the protective arms of the Forgotten Pantheon, Ortex is the greatest keeper of forbidden lore amongst all deities. If there is a single divine figure that knows the secrets of the gods and may be willing to share it, it is her.
Appearance. Rarely is Ortex ever beheld by mortal eyes. In the very few instances in which she is, she appears as a shorter woman with inky golden tentacles for legs that connect to a beautiful humanoid body of pale skin. She has a head framed by long, golden blonde hair, and upon that head is a large, singular eye of pure white and platinum.
Ortex’s domains are PERCEPTION and SIGHT.
PERCEPTION: To Ortex, to truly perceive requires more than just eyes with which to see. Perception requires all of the senses, even those inaccessible to most mortals. Ortex sees the cosmos not as separated individuals, or an interconnected entanglement, nor even as a web of reciprocity. She watches the worlds of Ved spin a much more complicated tapestry, one where the gods themselves are played by infinitely more powerful entities.
SIGHT: Ortex sees movements and actions beyond what all other gods could even think to see. She does not possess any precognitive powers, but she understands the ceaseless web of neverending connections, the infinitely traceable consequences of actions across the cosmos.
