“He’s a fucking mindreader, I’m telling you.”
”He’s an Absolver. That’s just what they do.”
“Absolvers can’t read minds. They just… know people.”
“We live in a world where people see a vision of their own deaths and still have the willpower to fight against it. Do you really think an Absolver that can read your mind is so farfetched?”
“Are you calling me stupid?”
“How about unwise?”
“Absolvers are difficult to truly detect. Are they an empathetic person? Do they have worldly knowledge? Or do they just have a keen sixth sense? Many speculate that Absolvers have limited psionic capabilities for no other Ascended is capable of understanding the minds of others as well as Absolvers do. Perhaps there is some truth to this speculation. Or perhaps it is simply that, speculation.”
Chosen by Rhene, Absolvers have unmatched empathetic ability. You understand the importance of admitting your wrongs and changing your ways, even during your time as an unruly child or a petulant teenager. For you, there is no greater challenge than the admission of weakness and the desire for growth. It is because of this that your are often regarded as "soft" and "weak." However, should your kindness and empathy be betrayed, your wrath is swift, deadly, and often more punishing than death itself.
