Choosing Rite

Marked by a divine shield, the blessing of Avrina to her Ascended arrives moments before their death. An impenetrable, invisible barrier that protects the child from any and all harm until they can reach safety— safety as defined by Avrina. Celestian children shine the brightest no matter the situation, bringing the light of gratitude, optimism, comfort, and hope to those around them.

Equipment: Choose (A) or (B): (A) Quarterstaff, Shield, Healer’s Kit, Traveler’s Clothes, Robe, Bedroll, Bullseye Lantern, Oil (10), and 20 GP; or (B) 50 GP

Ascended Boon (Celestian of Avrina)

You gain the following benefits.

By the Light of Dawn. As a Magic action, you cause divine light to shimmer around you in a 30-foot Emanation. Each creature of your choice in the Emanation restores Hit Points. To determine the amount of Hit Points, roll a number of d6s equal to your Proficiency Bonus and add them together. Once you use this action, you can’t use it again until you finish a Long Rest.

Lightvision. You have Darkvision with a range of 60 feet. If you already have Darkvision, its range extends to 120 feet, unless it is higher.
