The first child of the Twin Celestials, Avrina is light itself. From its beautiful, radiant morning rays to its piercing sunlight, Avrina sheds her light all throughout Auria. And this light pervades dreams itself, as well. In the misted space of dreams, Avrina takes the form of a feminine body whose head drifts with blue liquid, and is surrounded in an eternal veil of sunlight. Dreams flow all through all sentient creatures, and serve as a source of inward reflection and truth. Avrina was once regarded as one of the most powerful of the Ten, but the wound she suffered from Heirax brought her low. his wound does not stem the tide of light that exudes from Avrina— instead, some believe, that it has made her stronger than ever. The sun shines anew on Auria, and the Dawnbringer's guidance echoes all throughout its lands.

Avrina's demiplane is known as the Chamber of Dawn. Her alignment is Neutral Good.

Domains of Avrina

The Sun. To observe the sun is to observe Avrina. To understand one is to understand the other, for they are inextricably linked; from the sun's life-giving energy, to the searing pain it inflicts to those worthy of its ire.

Dawn. With the day, comes Avrina, bringing a new dawn to the sky and setting it alight once more. It is believed that she rides atop the star, carrying it through the sky and eventually setting it down beyond the horizon, only to begin the process once more the next day.

Hope. Hope rings eternal under the gaze of Avrina. The light that radiates from her shines through an individual's very soul and empowers them with the strength of the stars and the understanding that hope will always be by their side.

Dreams. The strange land of dreams is Avrina's true domain. It is the space that she holds equal control over with her twin sister, Diana. The two represent the oldest ideas of mortalkind, and have existed since they have dared to dream.

Worshiping Avrina

Avrina is often prayed to at the beginning of each day. Groups that worship her will host short litanies at dawn to acknowledge the duty of Avrina to bring the sun across the sky. One of the most celebrated days is Avritan, which is a day wholly dedicated to the worship of Avrina and the light that she provides across Auria.

To worship Avrina is to worship the sun, to embrace your hopes and dreams, and to instill that same hope in those that surround you. You must be warm. You must be hopeful. You must be truthful. By performing such acts or behaving in such manners, you further the influence of Avrina and deepen your connection to her.

To go against this philosophy, to instill fear, to hold secrets, to lie goes against all that Avrina represents. By performing such acts or behaving in such a manner, you lessen the influence of Avrina and weaken your connection to her.
