Her parents contained themselves within what the Nine wanted, and Ichor imprinted herself onto this belief. Her understanding of the world was shaped by the gods. Everything she knew, she received from either her parents or the gods. But children make mistakes. Ichor broke a promise-- an oath-- that she had given to her mother.
